B2TG is, above all, a human adventure, born from the shared values and passions of a close-knit group of friends who cherish music and art. The Back 2 The Groove Festival is dedicated to the underground electronic music scene, with a particular focus on house, tech house, and techno. It is a celebration of creativity and community, set against the breathtaking backdrop of one of the world’s most stunning locations in Thailand.
After two unforgettable editions in 2020, our journey hit a brief pause thanks to the unwelcome arrival of Covid. But fear not! We’re back and ready to reignite the fire of global friendship, positive vibes, artistic expression, eco-awareness, and non-stop dancefloor energy!
Get ready because the party is about to kick off once again, and we simply can’t contain our excitement to welcome you back into the fold.
We all know that each artistic discipline feeds on other expressions to evolve together. Thus, the B2TG Festival is a collaborative cultural, artistic & eco-friendly event, fusing music with dance, performances and visual art, while keeping the environment at the heart of its concerns. Here we dance, we dive, we live!
Painting, sculture, & artistic
performances offered to the public and various Workshops is also proposed to all attendees.
At our latest event, we showcased the impactful fusion of art and messaging. Teaming up with Bonus TMC street artists, we collaborated with the kids of Ko Tao to create stunning artwork. Thanks to a unique partnership with Starboard, we exclusively used water spray cans to bring our visions to life across various media. It was a testament to the power of creativity, community, and innovative expression.
We are dedicated to reducing plastic usage at Tao Festival. Our stalls will exclusively use biodegradable disposables or reusable cups and plates. For example, snacks will be served on banana leaf plates, accompanied by biodegradable cutlery and glasses. We prioritize local and organic food whenever feasible, while also minimizing packaging. Additionally, we urge attendees to conserve water, particularly on Koh Tao, where transporting resources from the mainland requires significant energy.
